Honestly
Five things elektro.box does not do, each with the reason behind it and with what we do instead. You would rather read this now than after signing.
That system belongs to Brunner Informatik. M2 and ElektroForm have connected installers, grid operators and inspection bodies for more than fifteen years, and your grid operator is hooked up to it. Putting a second notification system alongside it would help nobody — least of all you, since you would then have to maintain both.
Instead
We connect to it rather than replace it. The installation in our system carries what a notification needs: owner, location, meter number, inspection interval, last measurement. The route to the grid operator stays the one you know.
bexio, Abacus and Banana are good programs, and your business runs smoothly on them: chart of accounts, VAT returns, year-end close, your fiduciary knows your numbers. A second set of books alongside would not be an improvement, it would be a second version of the truth.
Instead
We export cleanly across — invoices, payments received, supplier invoices, with the documents attached. Your fiduciary gets read-only access and fetches what they need themselves, without anyone in your office having to dig anything out.
We do record time: hours on the job, supplements, absences, holiday, the rules from the GAV. Payroll itself we do not do. It hangs off social insurance, withholding tax and salary statements, and it is updated every year — that is a trade of its own, and there are programs that do nothing else.
Instead
The recorded hours go out as an export to a certified payroll program. Nothing gets retyped at the end of the month.
The application speaks German and French, and so does this site. Italian is planned. We will name a date only once there is one — a promised date we then miss would be worse than the honest answer that we are not there yet.

If your business works in French, say so when we talk. We will tell you whether that works for you today — and if it does not, we will say that too.
We read in article and item data from ELDAS, Steiger and NPK so that your quotes calculate with the right item numbers and prices. Deep estimating for large projects — mark-up rates across several lots, variants side by side, variation orders in detail — is a field of its own and not ours.
Instead
For day-to-day work the quote calculates what it has to, and the measured quantities calculate against it. For the big project, your estimating package stays where it is.
Why this page exists
The trade is small and people know each other. What gets said at the section meeting is common knowledge in the workshop by Monday. You can plan around a missing feature — a claim that turns out to be wrong in the second week is one we can never take back.
So this page says what others leave out of the sales pitch.
