Artificial intelligence
There are two things, and the difference between them is the whole point. In the inbox it acts: an incoming message becomes a job, and that job then sits in your first status. On a document it proposes, and only what you have ticked gets added.
Every action the AI takes appears in the activity feed, and the feed distinguishes whether a person or an agent did it.
The difference
The AI works differently in two places in the business. We mark that on this page with two labels, and they hold all the way down.
An incoming message becomes a job, and the customer, contact and property are created along with it. That is real afterwards and sits in your first status. There is no drafts folder where something like that waits for you.
Every proposal lands in a panel, with a tick box per line. What you tick is added to the document — existing lines are never replaced. A proposal you leave alone leaves nothing behind.
Where the software acts on its own, we say so. Where you confirm, we say that too.
Inbox
Email, WhatsApp, web form or the sync with Gmail: whatever comes in is read and put into your own structure.
It reads the text and turns it into a subject, a short description for the electrician, the job type from your own types, your own fields, the site address and the person on site. A single email covering several properties is split into several jobs. After that the job sits in your first status — not in a drafts folder.
If they do not exist yet. The company is inferred from a business domain; from a free email address expressly not, and nothing is guessed there. A property is only created when a street and postcode are present. And on a record that already exists, the email address and the billing address are never overwritten.
A polite email in your firm's name that genuinely goes out — with the two or three details without which nobody can drive out there.
When the customer replies, what is read is written into the job, and the "incomplete" flag disappears. Nothing is retyped.
If the text is not enough or something stays unclear, the job is flagged for review so that somebody looks at it. Obvious spam is discarded without a job being created at all.
A business that has never opened this setting is letting the software write to its customers on its own. You can switch it to approval or to draft, and the message will then wait for a button on the job. Out of the box it goes out — and you should hear that from us rather than from your customer.
Documents
On a document — a quote, an invoice or a job report — the AI writes nothing directly into it. It fills a panel, line by line, with a tick box in front of each.
Only what is ticked is added, and added means added: whatever is already on the document stays. Close the panel and the proposal is gone, and nothing on the document has changed.
From the job text, the messages that go with it and up to three finished documents of the same job type, so that the proposals sound like your firm and not like a textbook. Those examples never contain prices. On a quote the prices come from your own article master and are calculated — none is invented.

The photo becomes material line items. Each one carries the supplier and the delivery note number, so that nobody puzzles later over where the line came from.
Here the honest answer matters more than the flattering one: a SIA 451 file (.crbx) and a Steiger .DAT are read without any model, line by line, the same way every time. Only a photo or a PDF goes to the AI at all.
The labelling becomes the circuits: designation, type, rated current, RCD rated current, number of poles.
Whatever costs belong on the document are proposed. They go onto the document with your tick.
Documents that come in
Three documents that come into the business — and three design decisions we would rather name than leave unsaid.
First, fixed rules decide whether it is a supplier document at all; that needs no model. Then the document is read: supplier, document number, date, order reference, net, VAT, gross and the line items.

Nothing is posted until you confirm it in the inbox. Matching to article and job afterwards runs on fixed rules, and anything ambiguous is shown to you instead of guessed at.
A PDF or a photo, and one line per defect: item, location, the standard referred to and the deadline for putting it right.

The defect texts are taken over word for word rather than summarised — what the inspection body wrote stands there exactly like that afterwards. And a deadline that is not clearly stated comes back empty rather than guessed.
After a receipt is photographed, it is checked against the expense that was entered.
Design decision
The model never sees the amount that was typed in. The comparison happens afterwards in the software, with a tolerance of five rappen and three days. It corrects nothing, rejects nothing and blocks nothing — it leaves a note.
The assistant
A chat panel is open on every page. It does not only read, it does: record time, book stock, add installations and measurements, documents, appointments, expenses. Two rules keep it in check.
Whatever can be undone, it does while you are typing: record an hour, set an appointment, add a measurement.
Merging, deleting, changes to many records at once: for those a card appears that you have to click. Without that click, nothing happens.
Permissions
The assistant asks every time what the person at the other end is allowed to do, and refuses in one sentence when the role does not permit it. A field engineer sees no purchase prices in the chat either.
Every action the AI takes appears in the activity feed, and you can see whether a person acted or the software did. That is the real answer to "what has this thing done".
What we do not claim
There is no percentage and no number of hours on this page about time saved. We have measured none, so we are not inventing any.
We have no comparison, no study and no hit rate that would carry such a number. What we do have: a calculator into which you enter your own hours and your own rate, and then see for yourself whether it is worth it.
