The week you know
Every day you drive past buildings where your distribution boards are hanging. Which of those roofs is still free, nobody in the firm knows — and you would have to know in order to ask. So you wait until somebody calls of their own accord. Then in the spring one of those roofs has a system on it that somebody else built, and the customer tells you about it on your next service visit. You had the address for twelve years; what was missing was the look at the roof.
What changes
Area, yield in kilowatt hours per year and suitability — for the roof and for the facade, from the federal Sonnendach and Sonnenfassade maps, per building.
Next to it stands whether a system is already producing on this building. You are not offering anyone something that has been on their roof since 2015.
Held per municipality from the ElCom register. You are not searching for who is responsible for this address, and not notifying the wrong body.
The system cannot be set to "in operation" while the registration with the grid operator has not been checked. The order is kept because it has to be.

The documents for the one-off feed-in subsidy collect on the installation along the way, and the twelve-month deadline from commissioning is tracked. You file the application with Pronovo yourself; after that its status sits on the installation, and experience says it takes nine to fifteen months until the money arrives.

The deadline for the one-off feed-in subsidy starts at station four and not at station six. That is why it hangs off the commissioning, which is recorded anyway — and not off a calendar entry.
The application for the one-off feed-in subsidy has to be with Pronovo within twelve months of commissioning, otherwise the entitlement is forfeited. On a 10 kWp system that is around CHF 3'700 to 4'150; the rates are adjusted periodically. The deadline is counted from the recorded day of commissioning and speaks up while the application is still possible.
